Not a colour that beckons to me
But for some its a staple

Emerald Green

Green is not my color

Suspicion has it that it’s not lucky

A “struggle” ensues

Green is the color of open fields
Nature after nurture
Lots of rain… and new growth

Green is complementary
It brings out the color of my eyes

Green may be wrong
But it often seems very right

Emerald is royal, draws attention
Sometimes attention is unsettling
